Personnel from the East Jakarta Fire and Rescue Sub-agency extinguished a fire at a three-story house on Jalan Cipinang Bali II, RT 09/13, Cipinang Muara Urban Village, Jatinegara District, East Jakarta. The fire is suspected to have started from an electrical short circuit.

Head Section of Operation for the Sub-agency, Abdul Wahid said the incident was reported on Sunday (10/4) at 6:43 PM.

Wahid explained that the firefighting process began at 6:53 PM. The entire firefighting process was declared complete at 8:31 PM.
"There were no fatalities or injuries. The fire is being handled by the Jatinegara Police for further investigation," he explained.
Meanwhile, Head of Cipinang Muara Urban Village, Komarudin said all the residents of the house managed to escape. Three families with a total of 14 people survived the fire.
"We express our appreciation and gratitude to the sub-agency team. The fire was quickly extinguished and prevented from spreading to other buildings," he said.
